Men made easy is a practical and interesting book that gives us, women, a glimpse into men and what makes them who they are and how that spills over into their relationships with us. Man made easy is written for women in various types of relationships but who feel disquiet or unhappiness in their relationships. The author Kara maintains that our childhood dream of having a loving exciting relationship is possible and that the settling for less doesn’t have to happen, and where it has already happened or is happening; then the 12 secrets if implemented can stop or reverse this. The 12 secrets in men made easy are not really new but Kara shows us how to practically make use of each secret so as to change our relationships for the better. She shows us how powerful these secrets, that we often ignore or make light of, are in making our relationships the way they are.

What I liked about men made easy is that each of the 12 secrets is discussed separately and there is a practical application after each secret so that the information is not just head knowledge but you are able (and encouraged) to put it into practice immediately. The 12 men made easy secrets are built on each other and we see the impact they have on the 3 main women characters that represent us and our struggles (one has been married for a while, the other is divorced and remarried and the other is single). Men made easy will change the way you view the man in your life and will help you change your relationship to what you had always wanted it to be.
What I didn’t initially like about men made easy was the way it started as it was slow and seemed like a fairy tale but I later realized that was Kara’s way of getting all the 3 women with their various questions, inputs, concerns etc to come through so that she could address the specifics of the various relationships.
If you are wondering if ‘men made easy’ is for you? Then my answer would be that it depends on the relationship that you have or want. If you feel that there is something missing from your relationship or that your husband is not attentive or caring to you….then this book is for you! If you want a relationship where he treats you like a queen (is attentive, caring, respectful etc)…then this book is for you!
Men made easy, is not a magic formula for your marriage or relationship but I found it very useful for helping me work on my relationship. It’s a book that requires you to honestly work on yourself and overflow into your partner and then you will see changes but it also acknowledges that there are some relationships where so much hurt and resentment has built up that you may need to use secret no.1 to determine whether it wouldn’t be prudent to just walk away.
